August 25th. I am considering how far prohibition of exportation of foodstuffs from United Kingdom can be relaxed in favour of certain Dependencies. Telegraph as soon as

possible if there are any of the following articles for which you are solely dependent on the United Kingdom and minimum amount required per annum. This refers to internal consumption only and must not include goods for re-export, articles are wheat, wheatflour, barley, oats, butter, margarine, cheese, eggs, sugar and molasses, jams, marmalades, condensed milk.
